FAQ/First Visit

If you are new to this site please read this entire page, it will answer all of your questions on how to get a password, make a profile as well as answer any concerns you may have concerning privacy. If you are not new, scroll to the middle of the page and you might find answers to some questions you might have.

You can choose whether your "Classmate Profile" is publicly viewable on the website (e.g., by other classes, friends, and the general public) or restricted to registered Classmates only. If restricted, search engines and the general public will be blocked from accessing your Classmate Profile page. You can also choose whether or not your mailing address and phone number are displayed; otherwise, only the City and State where you live will be listed. Click on the "Edit Your Profile" link under the Member Functions menu in the side column, then scroll down to the bottom of the page to make your choice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

I have forgotten my password, what do I do?

 

 1. You can use the password recovery feature to retrieve your password. Go to the home page and click on "Forgot Password" in the gray login box in the upper right corner. This will allow you to retrieve the lost password. This option is the quickets way to retrieve your password.

2. If for some reason you are unable to retrieve your password using #1 (ex. you no longer have access to the email address  used when creating your profile) you can use the "contact us" feature at the top of the home page and we can do a password reset for you. You can then change your passwod once you log on using the "change password" feature located on the left of the screen.

 NOTE: Using #2 will not be as immediate response as #1. Please allow up to 24hrs for a response using the “contact us” feature. We will respond as quickly as we are able to. 

 

Does the public or other Classmates have access to my e-mail address?

•  No. To protect your privacy, your work or home e-mail address is stored only within the website, so Classmates can send you a Message. You can decide whom you want to provide your own e-mail address to. To check if you've received any new messages, click on the "Message Area" under the Member Functions menu in the side column.

• Please add our email address to your address book and adjust your spam settings so that you can receive emails keeping you up to date with the website and upcoming reunion.

How will I receive e-mails from the website?

•  E-mails to the entire class will be sent to you from: postmaster@classcreator.net so please add this e-mail address to your Address Book or your spam filter's Approved List. You can send e-mails to our website administrator, Sheree, by clicking on the "Contact Us" tab at the top of the page. I will reply as soon as possible.

What are examples of the e-mails that I may be sent?

• You will be e-mailed information about new website features; details about the upcoming class reunion, general announcements about classmates; and other important news. In addition, a reminder e-mail will be sent to you on New Year's Day suggesting that the start of the new year is a good time to update your "Classmate Profile".

Can I post my own photos or videos on the website?

• Yes! You can upload a current photo of yourself, your family, pets, vacations, old photos from days gone by, past reunions, etc. -- anything you want to share -- by clicking on "Edit/Upload Photos" under the Member Functions menu on the left.

• There is no limit on the number of digital photos that you can store on your "Classmate Profile" page.

• Each photo is automatically resized to fit on your Profile page.

• You can also upload your own videos that you've posted to YouTube.com by clicking on the "Classmate Profiles" link, then following the instructions.

• And yes, you can add, delete, or replace your own photos or videos at any time.

Who designs and maintains this website?

• This website was designed by a fellow classmate, who also maintains the site using a web-based application called ClassCreator.com that provides free websites to high schools, colleges, and alumni associations worldwide. You may send questions, suggestions, or general comments to me by clicking on the "Contact Us" link.

Does Class Creator rent, sell, or in any way profit from having our Classmates' names, addresses, and personal information? How does classcreator.com it make its money?

• No. Class Creator does not rent or sell any Classmate information or engage in any marketing or solicitation to Classmates.

• All personal contact information is held strictly confidential.

• Class Creator does not sell advertising on the website or display banner ads or pop-up windows.
  
• Class Creator does sell domain name registrations to Classes through its ClassNames.net subsidiary.

 

Our plan for this website is to keep you informed and up- to- date regarding our 35th reunion plans. Check the 35th Reunion link found on the left menu for reunion information. The information will be updated as needed.

         

Mailing is one of the highest costs we face when planning our reunions. It limits us to the amount of information we can get out to you in a timely manner. Keep your email addresses current for us, please.

Help us by getting the word out about this website to other classmates who you may see that have not set up an account.  We realize some people may not have an emal address. Those people we are unable to contact by email will get contacted via "snail mail."  

 

                           

 

This website if for all of you too. You can share photos, family accomplishments or anything you wish to share with other classmates. This site is only accesible to our classmates who have created a profile and password. All information is kept private unless you wish to share with others.

 

Sheree has finished  scanning our yearbook senior photos to add profile pages. They have all been applied to those whose photos were in the yearbook.  It would be great if everyone would add a current photo of themselves as well.

 

We are hoping that this website proves to be worthwhile to all of you. At this time, we are able to offer this website to everyone at no charge. We are hoping to keep it going with donations from classmates at our 35th reunion.

 

 

We have a bank savings account which Lisa is in charge of. There isn't much of a balance in the account once bills from the reunion have been settled. Sometimes money has to be used to buy flowers should a classmate pass. Those flowers are sent out in the name of "The Class of 1975." If you at anytime know of any, please let us know.

 

We hope to have some of the balance left to help in starting plans for the next reunion. This isn't always the case.There are times Lisa and Sheree need to use our own money to get things started up. Donations are always welcome, payable to The Class of 1975 c/o Lisa Rankin Burgess.
